The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose Wednesday for the seventh consecutive day, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $4.684.
The average price has increased 10 cents over the past seven days, including 1.8 cents Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 6.8 cents less than one month ago and 47 cents lower than one year ago
The average price has dropped $1.689 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose for the third day in a row 2.3 cents to $3.18, a day after rising 2.1 cents. It has risen 4.5 cents over the past three days.
The national average price is 2.6 cents more than one week ago, four-tenths of a cent lower than one month ago and 43.1 cents below what is was one year ago. It has dropped $1.836 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
