The mercury will be moving up Tuesday in Riverside and the Inland Empire, with temperatures reaching the mid 90s in the valleys and triple digits in the Coachella Valley.
The high in the valleys and Inland Empire will be 94 Tuesday and rise Wednesday to 97 and Thursday to 95.
Light winds from the southwest will be around 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph Tuesday. But the winds will die down Wednesday and Thursday.
By Friday, temperatures are expected to drop to the high 80s. By Saturday, temperatures will be around 80.
The mountains will be warm and windy with highs between 79 and 87.
It will be sunny in the Coachella Valley with highs around 101 Tuesday. It will be sunny and hot on Wednesday with highs between 103 and 106.
Temperatures are expected to be in the triple digits in the Coachella Valley until Memorial Day.
