The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped Monday for the 20th time in 21 days, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $4.511, a day after dropping six-tenths of a cent.
The average price has dropped 17.4 cents over the past 21 days, including 1.4 cents Saturday, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 7.9 cents less than one week ago, 11.5 cents less than one month ago and 29.4 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.862 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.124, a day after dropping six-tenths of a cent. It is 1.7 cents less than one week ago, 2.1 cents less than one month ago and 32.4 cents less than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.892 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
