The California Highway Patrol Saturday activated a Silver Alert to help locate a 76-year-old man missing from Palm Desert.
Joe Fagan was last seen about 5:30 p.m. near Country Club Drive and Willow Ridge, according to the CHP. He is believed to be on foot.
Fagan is white, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 155 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes and last seen wearing a gray hat, gray shirt, black jacket, black pants with a gray stripe and black shoes.
Anyone who sees Fagan or has information about where he is was urged to call 911.
A Silver Alert is designed to help quickly locate missing senior citizens or people with cognitive impairments and are believed to be at risk.
