The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose four-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.332, after a run of 11 decreases in 12 days that dropped it to its lowest amount since Jan. 15.

The average price is 3.3 cents less than one week ago, 13.5 cents less than one month ago and 27.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.041 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped for the third consecutive day, decreasing a half-cent to $3.14, after dropping a half-cent Friday and 1 cent Saturday. It is 1.3 cents less than one week ago, 7.7 cents less than one month ago and 36.4 cents less than one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.876 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
