Fire damaged a single-story home in La Quinta Friday, but no injuries were reported.
The blaze was reported about 12:05 p.m. Friday in the 52500 block of Avenida Carranza, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Arriving crews encountered active fire and smoke coming out of the single-story home.
Southern California Gas Co. and La Quinta Building and Safety representatives were requested to assist at the scene.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
