The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County ticked up one-tenth of a cent Sunday to $4.471.
The average price is 7.1 cents more than one week ago, 16 cents more than one month ago and one-tenth of a cent more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.902 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price decreased four-tenths of a cent to $3.188. It is 3.5 cents more than one week ago and 4.1 cents more than one month ago, but 15.1 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.828 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
