The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped two-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.609.
The average price is two-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, but 5.5 cents more than one month ago and 15.3 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.764 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped for the 10th time in 11 days, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.083. It is 5 cents less than one week ago, 10.5 cents less than one month ago and 12.1 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.933 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
