A 62-year-old woman who had been the subject of an Endangered Missing Advisory after last being seen in Hemet has been found, the California Highway Patrol announced Monday.
Janet Marie Cross had last been seen at about 6 p.m. Sunday at Shadow Lane and South Meridian Street, according to the CHP.
As is customary in missing persons cases, details about where and when Cross was found were not provided.
An Endangered Missing Advisory is issued by law enforcement agencies for people missing under unexplainable or suspicious circumstances or vulnerable and believed to be in peril, according to the CHP. It is issued after the investigating law enforcement agency has tried all available local resources.
