A Feather Alert is in effect Thursday in Riverside County for a 17-year-old girl from the Pechanga Band of Indians last seen in Wildamar.

Anna Urita was last seen on Saturday at approximately 2:14 p.m. on Sexton and Union streets, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert Wednesday, the day it was notified of her disappearance, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

Urita is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 230 pounds, has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a beige and black flannel blouse, a gray hoodie, black pants and black sandals.

Authorities said Urita is believed to be traveling in an unknown vehicle.

Anyone who has seen Urita or knows of her whereabouts was asked to call 911.

The Feather Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts in cases involving the suspicious or unexplained disappearance of Indigenous individuals.
