The run of 10 decreases in 11 days totaling 5 cents that dropped the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County to its lowest amount since May 28, 2021, ended Monday with an increase of a half-cent to $4.129.
The average price is 3.4 cents less than one week ago, 20 cents lower than one month ago and 18.6 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has dropped $2.244 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The three-day streak of decreases to the national average price totaling 2.4 cents ended with an increase of one-tenth of a cent to $2.796. It is 1.6 cents less than one week ago, 13.6 cents lower than one month ago and 27.1 cents below what it was one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $2.22 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
