The eighth annual Run/Walk 4 Kids will take place later this month at Rancho Mirage Community Park to raise awareness and donations for children fighting pediatric cancer.
The family-friendly event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 28 at 71560 San Jacinto Drive.
It will feature vendors, a food court, a kids zone and a family bubble run after the 5K. Admission into the event will be free but organizers asks minimal donations from attendees to participate in the 5K.
The Desi Strong Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to local families fighting pediatric cancer and donate fund to pediatric cancer research, is organizing the event.
