A donation drive benefiting impacted immigrant families was underway Friday in Coachella, according to Todec Legal Center.
The event, themed “Valentine’s Food Drive,” started at 10 a.m. Friday at 1560 Sixth Street and will conclude at 5 p.m.
Organizers encourage the public to drop off nonperishable food items, hygiene products, clothing or new products that may assist immigrant families in need.
Suggested donations includes corn tortillas, beans, rice, canned chicken, tuna, eggs, cereal, cooking oil, diapers and baby wipes. The drive is also being held in Perris and Victorville.
