The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County remained unchanged Wednesday at $6.063.
The average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, but 29.9 cents more than one month ago and $1.386 more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has risen $1.512 since the joint U.S./Israel attack on Iran on Feb. 28, moving within 31 cents of the record $6.373 set on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose 2.2 cents to $4.555. It is 4.4 cents more than one week ago, 51.3 cents more than one month ago and $1.378 more than one year ago. The national average price has risen $1.573 since the attack on Iran, moving within 46.1 cents of the record $5.016 set June 14, 2022.
