A Mariachi band, dancing and other fare will liven up the atmosphere in Riverside later this month during a celebration recognizing Latin culture and contributions.
September is Hispanic Heritage Month, and the Riverside Plaza will host its first celebration for the occasion on Sept. 19, between 4 and 6 p.m., in the shopping center at 3639 Riverside Plaza Drive.
The event will highlight Hispanic culture and traditions through Latin music, Mariachi performances and traditional Folklórico dancing, according to organizers.
The celebration will be free and open to all patrons of the Plaza, where organizers noted there are more than 50 shopping, dining, service and entertainment options.
