Firefighters stopped the spread of a 28-acre vegetation fire in Mead Valley Friday evening that caused one minor injury.
A vehicle fire broke out around 7:51 p.m. Friday east of Gustin Lane and south of Cajalco Road and spread to surrounding vegetation in the unincorporated community of Mead Valley, southwest of Perris, according to Cal Fire.
One person was taken to a hospital with a minor injury, Cal Fire said.
Fire crews stopped the spread of the fire around 10:31 p.m., according to Cal Fire..
The fire is 10% contained, Cal Fire said. Its cause is under investigation.
