Nine people were displaced Friday following a residential fire in Eastvale.
A fire broke out around 8:43 p.m. Thursday at a two-story house in the 6600 block of Heathgrove Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Multiple fire engines were deployed to the residence, where a fire was visible in the garage and heavy smoke emitted from the structure, the RCFD said.
The RCFD said that fire resources would be deployed for approximately two hours at 9:30 p.m. Updated information on the status of the fire was not immediately available.
Five adults and four children were displaced by the fire, the RCFD said, and were assisted by the American Red Cross Southern California Region.
No injuries were reported.
