The Los Angeles Kings lost their second-straight game Thursday night with a 2-0 loss to the Dallas Stars at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The loss came one day after the Kings fell to the Anaheim Ducks in a shootout and marked the third time the Kings were shut out this season.
“There wasn’t enough fight and our power play wasn’t great,” said the Kings’ Justin Williams after the game. “It didn’t score a big goal for us like we needed tonight.”
With the loss to the Stars, the Kings now sit 8-5-4 for the season.
The Kings will begin a four-game home stand beginning Saturday with another match up against the Ducks at 1 p.m.
