
The Los Angeles D-Fenders set NBA Development League records for points in a game, half and quarter in a 175-152 victory over the Reno Bighorns on Saturday night at the Toyota Sports Center.
The D-Fenders, the Los Angeles Lakers’ NBA Development League affiliate, set a league record with 56 points in the first quarter as guard Manny Harris made nine of 10 shots, scoring 18 points. The D-Fenders had a record 94 points at halftime.
The D-Fenders led 56-42 at the end of the first quarter, 94-79 at halftime and 133-112 after three quarters.
Harris had a game-high 39 points, along with 13 assists and 10 rebounds for his second triple-double of the season. Jabari Brown added 28, Vander Blue 26, and Keith Appling and Roscoe Smith 22 each for the D-Fenders (5-10).
Quincy Miller led the Bighorns (5-6) with 28 points, while Brady Heslip added 24 and former UCLA forward David Wear 21 for the Sacramento Kings’ affiliate.
