Rain bypassed Dodger Stadium Thursday night, allowing the Los Angeles Dodgers-Colorado Rockies game to start on schedule.
The National Weather Service had forecast a 70 percent chance of rain and a slight chance of thunderstorms for the start the game.
The Dodgers are in the midst of a team-record streak of 1,230 games without a rainout. The most recent of the 17 rainouts since Dodger Stadium opened in 1962 occurred on April 17, 2000.
