The Los Angeles Rams will begin preseason practices at UC Irvine July 30, the first of 17 practices open to the public, the NFL team announced.

The Rams will also hold a practice at the Los Angeles Coliseum Aug. 6, beginning at 3 p.m.

Admission to the practices at Crawford Field are free. Gates will open 90 minutes before the start of practice.

Autograph sessions for children 14 years old and under will follow each practice at UC Irvine.

Parking will be available for $10 in the Mesa Parking Structure, next to the Bren Events Center. Fans are encouraged to purchase parking passes online in advance at TheRams.com. Video cameras and alcohol are prohibited.

The Rams also held training camp at UC Irvine in 1991, 1992 and 1994, their final season playing at the then-Anaheim Stadium before moving to St. Louis.

Here are the days and start times for the Rams practices at UC Irvine that are open to the public and players who will be signing autographs afterward:

— July 30, 3:30 p.m., defensive linemen;

— July 31, 3:30 p.m., offensive linemen;

— Aug. 2, 3:30 p.m., defensive backs;

— Aug. 3, 3:30 p.m., quarterbacks and tight ends;

— Aug. 5, 3:30 p.m., running backs and receivers;

— Aug. 8, 3:30 p.m., linebackers and special teams;

— Aug. 9, 3:30 p.m., defensive linemen;

— Aug. 11, 10 a.m., offensive linemen;

— Aug. 15, 4:30 p.m., defensive linemen;

— Aug. 16, 3:30 p.m., quarterbacks and tight ends;

— Aug. 17, 3:30 p.m., running backs and receivers;

— Aug. 18, 5:30 p.m., linebackers and special teams;

— Aug. 22, 4:30 p.m., defensive linemen;

— Aug. 23, 3:30 p.m., defensive backs;

— Aug. 24, 3:30 p.m., quarterbacks and tight ends; and

— Aug. 25, 4:30 p.m., entire team.
