Free shuttle bus service for Los Angeles Galaxy games will be provided from the Harbor Gateway Transit Center in Gardena and the Metro Blue Line’s Del Amo Station to StubHub Center, the Major League Soccer team announced Tuesday.

The service will begin with the Feb. 25 exhibition game against the Portland Timbers. The Galaxy Express will operate every 10 minutes beginning 90 minutes before kickoff and run through the game’s 15th minute.

The shuttle will operate for 45 minutes after the game ends.

The Galaxy Express will allow fans to take Metro Silver Line buses to the Harbor Gateway Transit Center or Metro Blue Line trains to the Del Amo Station and avoid congestion around StubHub Center.

The shuttle will be operated by Long Beach Transit.
