Multiple fights broke out as the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers conducted a joint practice at UC Irvine.
The first fight began following an incomplete pass when Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson threw a punch at Chargers receiver Dontrelle Inman.
After Johnson was pushed away Wednesday by an official, Rams defensive back Nickell Robey-Coleman shoved Inman to the ground.

Rams coach Sean McVay said “it’s hard to exactly say (what) had gone on.” Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said he did not see the first fight.
McVay said he thought his players “did a nice job regaining their poise and finding a way to get through this practice where we both got something out of it.”
Lynn said his team had a productive practice after all the fighting and everyone settled down” and it demonstrated “a little more intensity” than in Saturday’s joint practice at StubHub Center.
