The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department sought public help Monday to solve unrelated missing persons cases involving two women who disappeared within the past six weeks and a third who hasn’t been heard from in more than a year.

Julie Ann “Jewels” Barrientos, 55, was last seen on Saturday about 8 a.m. near the 45000 block of 28th Street East in Lancaster.

“She suffers from dementia (and) schizophrenia and is bipolar, (and) requires medication,” according to a sheriff’s statement.

Barrientos is Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds, and has short gray hair and green eyes. She has a flame tattoo on her right forearm and was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and black Converse tennis shoes.

Deborah Shawn Medina, 60, was last seen on Oct. 9 about 10:45 a.m. in the 3600 block of Imperial Highway in Lynwood.

Medina, who is bipolar and schizophrenic, is white, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has gray/brown shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes.

Lidia Jovanna Huerta, 27, has not been seen since Sept. 1, 2018, at her home in the 11400 block of Adonis Street in Norwalk.

“Her loved ones have not seen or heard from her (and) are very concerned,” according to a sheriff’s statement.

Huerta is Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.

Anyone with information about any of the cases was urged to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
