A Lamborghini sports car was cut in half during a crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in the downtown area Saturday.

The crash was reported at 4:22 a.m. on the southbound Harbor Freeway at West Third Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

It appeared to have been a solo vehicle crash and was referenced as having injuries but the exact number of and extent were not available.

New Lamborghinis can range in price from about $211,000 to $2 million, depending on the model and whether it was in limited production, according to Motortrend Magazine.
