NBC4 announced Thursday that it is expanding its news programming with a 30-minute newscast at 7 p.m. on weekdays, beginning Monday.
The newscast anchored by Colleen Williams will follow “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.”
“The addition of NBC4’s 7 p.m. news offers an important time when viewers are seeking the latest news and catching up on the day’s top stories,” said Renee Washington, NBC4’s vice president of news.
The station produces more than 43 hours of local news, weather, traffic and sports every week. Programming kicks off weekdays with “Today in LA” from 4-7 a.m. followed by newscasts at 11 a.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., now 7 p.m., and 11 p.m. The station also produces around-the-clock content on its NBCLA app and OTT platforms.
