Authorities sought the public’s help Sunday in locating a missing senior in Santa Monica.
Donald Ellis is an 80-year-old man with blue eyes and white hair. He weighs 195 pounds and is 6-feet-4 inches tall.
Ellis was last seen around 7 p.m. Saturday at 16th Street and Washington Avenue in Santa Monica. He is believed to be on foot and wearing a black baseball hat, a green parka jacket, brown plaid shirt and brown corduroy pants.
The California Highway Patrol activated a silver alert on behalf of the Santa Monica Police Department. Authorities asked the public to call 911 if they see Ellis or know his whereabouts.
