Two people were seriously injured and four others suffered non-life threatening injuries in a five-vehicle crash Sunday morning on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Boyle Heights, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 5 a.m. on the westbound freeway at Soto Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Firefighters and paramedics, dispatched to the scene at 5:01 a.m., transported six people — two with serious injuries and four with non-life threatening injuries — to area hospitals, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
At least two vehicles — a black SUV and a sedan — were overturned during the crash, the CHP said.
There was no other immediate information available.
