Lane and ramp closures will begin on the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway between Cerritos and Irwindale, Caltrans announced Friday.
The closures will facilitate “excavation, concrete work, asphalt paving, k-rail placement, striping, guardrail work, sign removal and installation, and electrical and drainage work. C
Lane and ramp closures will take place each night beginning Monday and lasting through next Friday night.
— Up to three southbound lanes will be closed from Telegraph Road to Katella Avenue from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.;
— Up to three northbound lanes will be closed from the Century (105) Freeway to Telegraph Road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.;
— The northbound and southbound Golden State (5) Freeway connectors to the northbound 605 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.;
— Northbound 605 connectors to the northbound and southbound 5 Freeway will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Ramps will be closed sequentially as work progresses, according to Caltrans;
— The northbound and southbound Florence Avenue and Telegraph Road on- and off-ramps will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Consecutive ramps will not be closed simultaneously, per Caltrans.
Closures scheduled Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Two lanes closed on northbound and southbound I-605 between I-10 and Telegraph Road.
Closures Monday through Thursday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and Friday from 10 p.m. to 11:59 a.m. include two lanes of the northbound and southbound 605 between the 10 Freeway and Telegraph Road.
Closures Monday through Thursday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and Friday from 10 p.m. to 11:59 a.m. include:
— Up to two lanes of the north- and southbound 605 from the 10 to the Foothill (210) freeways;
— The westbound 10 freeway connector to northbound 605;
— The Ramona Boulevard, Lower Azusa Road and eastbound and westbound Arrow Highway on-ramps to the northbound 605;
— The Ramona Boulevard, Lower Azusa Road, and Live Oak Avenue off-ramps from northbound 605;
— The Ramona Boulevard, Lower Azusa Road and Live Oak Avenue on-ramps to southbound-605;
— The Lower Azusa Road and Arrow Highway off-ramps from southbound 605;
Additionally, on the Arrow Highway off-ramp from southbound 605 the left-turn lane will remain closed through the end of June.
All corresponding on- and off-ramps will be closed sequentially as work progresses and no two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time, according to Caltrans.
