The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County recorded its largest increase since June 23, rising a half-cent to $4.471, one day after increasing one-tenth of a cent.
The average price is eight-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 11.7 cents lower than one month ago and 15.3 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has dropped $2.022 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose four-tenths of a cent to $4.414, one day after increasing a half-cent. It is 1.2 cents less than one week ago, 9.5 cents lower than one month ago and 14.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped $2.044 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose seven-tenths of a cent to $3.147, one day after a five-day streak of decreases totaling 2.6 cents ended with an increase of four-tenths of a cent. It is 1.5 cents less than one week ago, 3.8 cents lower than one month ago and 34.4 cents below what it was one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.869 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
