The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged Thursday, remaining at $4.466, one day after dropping four-tenths of a cent.

The average price is unchanged from one week ago, 5.3 cents less than one month ago and 10.6 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the American Automobile Association and the Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped $2.027 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose for the fifth consecutive day, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $4.43. It has increased 1.5 cents over the past five days, including three-tenths of a cent Wednesday.

The Orange County average price is 2 cents more than one week ago, but 3.1 cents less than one month ago and 6.7 cents lower than one year ago. It has dropped $2.028 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price rose for the third consecutive day after a five-day streak of decreases totaling 3.2 cents, increasing a half-cent to $3.16. It has risen 2.2 cents over the past three days, including 1.5 cents Wednesday.

The national average price is six-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 28.4 cents less than one year ago but seven-tenths of a cent more than one month ago. It has dropped $1.856 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
