Palm Springs International Airport announced Monday it will launch seasonal nonstop service to Charlotte Douglas International Airport via American Airlines starting in December.
The Saturday-only flights will operate from Dec. 20 through April 18, 2026, aboard Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 172 seats, officials said.
Flights will depart Charlotte, North Carolina, at 9:25 a.m. and arrive in Palm Springs at 11:25 a.m., with return service leaving at 12:15 p.m. and arriving in Charlotte at 7:45 p.m.
“This new connection builds on our momentum, adding even more nonstop access between the Coachella Valley and the East Coast,” PSP executive director of aviation Harry Barrett Jr. said in a statement. “Every new route creates more opportunities for our community, our visitors and our economy.”
Officials said the announcement comes during a year of record-breaking growth for the airport, which has logged five record months in 2025. July passenger counts were up 11% compared to the same month last year.
