A multiple-vehicle crash on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Lake View Terrace Wednesday morning injured four people, at least one of whom was airlifted from the scene.

The crash was reported at 5:26 a.m. on the westbound side of the freeway just east of Wheatland Avenue.

All lanes of the freeway were shut down west of Foothill Boulevard and a landing zone was established at Hansen Dam Soccer Field, said Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Ground and air ambulances transported four patients, two of whom were in critical condition, one who was in at least serious condition and one who was in fair condition, Lantz said.

The victims’ ages and genders were not immediately available.

The California Highway Patrol reopened all westbound lanes around 6:30 a.m.
