Firefighters freed a person from the wreckage of a collision involving a big rig and a passenger vehicle in Sun Valley.
The crash was reported at 6:46 a.m. in the 11400 block of West Saticoy Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The patient, a male of unknown age, was in serious condition when taken to a hospital by LAFD paremedics.
