Overnight lane and ramp closures are coming to the San Diego State (405) Freeway through Sepulveda Pass next week as ongoing repavement work continues.
Crews will start work after 9 p.m. and end by 6 a.m. daily Monday through Friday of next week, according to Caltrans.
The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph in certain northbound and southbound sections of the 405. Intermittent closures will take place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through July 17 as follows:
— Up to two lanes of the northbound 405 will be closed between Sepulveda Boulevard and Victory Boulevard;
— Up to two northbound lanes will be closed between Wilshire Boulevard to Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive;
— The off-ramp from northbound 405 to Getty Center Drive will be closed;
— Up to two lanes of northbound 405 will be closed between Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive to Sepulveda Boulevard;
— The on-ramp from Sepulveda Boulevard to the northbound 405 will be closed;
— The on-ramp from Burbank Boulevard to the northbound 405 will be closed;
— Up to two southbound 405 lanes will be closed between Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive and Wilshire Boulevard;
— Up to three lanes of southbound 405 will be closed between the Ventura (101) Freeway and Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive;
— Up to two lanes of southbound 405 will be closed between Victory Boulevard and the 101;
— The connector from northbound 101 to southbound 405 will be closed; and
— The connector from southbound 101 connector to southbound 405 will be closed.
From 10 p.m. July 17 to 5 a.m. July 20:
— The southbound 405 will reduced to two lanes between the connector to the 101 and the connector between southbound 101 and southbound 405 will be closed;
— The on-ramp from Burbank Boulevard to southbound 405 will be closed;
— The off-ramp from northbound 405 to Getty Center Drive will be closed;
— The northbound 101 connector to southbound 405 will be closed; and
— The southbound 101 connector to southbound 405 will be reduced to one lane.
