One person was injured Thursday in a collision involving two big rigs on state Route 86 near Thermal.
The crash was reported about 5:20 a.m. Thursday near Airport Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One of the trucks rolled over and spilled debris across the roadway, and both vehicles wound up blocking several lanes.
A Sig Alert was activated at 6 a.m., with traffic diverted at Airport Boulevard to Highway 111.
At least one person was taken to a hospital for a reported back or neck injuries. The extent of the injury was not immediately known.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
