All southbound lanes reopened around 3:30 a.m. Friday on the Long Beach (710) Freeway just north of Florence Avenue after a multi-vehicle collision caused a complete shutdown, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision caused one person to be transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig said.
No fatalities resulted from the collision, which occurred around 2:02 a.m., the CHP said.
The roadway was reopened around 3:30 a.m, authorities said.
