A big rig struck the center divider on the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway and overturned early Thursday, blocking freeway lanes and Metrolink tracks in the Rosemead area.
The crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. on the westbound freeway just east of Del Mar Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver was able to exit the vehicle, and no injuries were reported.
A SigAlert was issued as four freeway lanes were blocked to allow crews to remove the truck. Most of the lanes were reopened around 7 a.m., although the two express lanes were expected to remain unavailable until late Thursday morning, according to the CHP.
The Metrolink tracks were also shut down between the El Monte and Cal State Los Angeles stations due to the crash.
