A tractor-trailer fire on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Alhambra Tuesday evening prompted the issuance of a SigAlert and the accompanying closure of three lanes.
The semi-detached trailer caught fire around 9:52 p.m. Tuesday and caused the California Highway Patrol to issue a SigAlert at 10:38 p.m. for eastbound lanes No. 2, 3 and 4 just west of Atlantic Boulevard, a CHP spokesperson said.
There was no immediate word if any injuries occurred because of the fire.
Alhambra Fire Department personnel also responded to the scene, according to the CHP.
