Overnight lane and ramp closures in both directions of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway will resume Monday evening between Santa Fe Springs and Baldwin Park, Caltrans reminded motorists.
Up to two lanes of the 605 Freeway will be closed in both directions between the San Bernardino Freeway and Telegraph Road nightly starting as early as 10 p.m. Monday and lasting until 5 a.m. each morning through Friday.
All corresponding southbound on- and off-ramps may be closed from 7 p.m. to as late as 6 a.m. as work continues, according to Caltrans. Northbound and southbound 605 Freeway connectors to the eastbound and westbound Pomona Freeway will be closed as early as 7 p.m. and lasting until 6 a.m.
Eastbound and westbound connectors from the 60 Freeway to the north- and southbound 605 Freeway will close nightly starting at 7 p.m. until as late as 6 a.m. the following morning.
Additionally, the connectors from the north- and southbound Golden State Freeway to the northbound 605 Freeway will be closed starting as early as 7 p.m. and lasting until 6 a.m.
Motorists are encouraged to use the Long Beach Freeway or 5 Freeway as alternate routes.
The work is part of the $259 million Super 605 corridor project to rehabilitate the 605 Freeway from Long Beach to the San Gabriel Valley.
