Four people were hurt Tuesday in a crash involving a big rig, a truck and a car that shut down the westbound lanes of the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena, authorities said.

The crash was reported about 2:30 p.m. on the westbound 210 near Hill Avenue, said California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball.

Pasadena Fire Department paramedics tended to four patients, all of whom were expected to be transported to hospitals, but none of the injuries were life-threatening, spokeswoman Lisa Derderian said.

Debris from the collision covered the westbound lanes, according to Kimball, who said a SigAlert was declared at 2:38 p.m. There was no word on when the lanes might be reopened.

The cause of the collision was under investigation by the CHP.
