Firefighters extinguished a blaze in a Quail Valley home in just under an hour Saturday morning.
Fire crews were called at 1:20 a.m. to the 28000 block of Connecticut Drive and spotted heavy fire and smoke coming from a single-story home, according to Tawny Cabral with the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters declared a knockdown on the fire at 2:15 a.m., she said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
