Former President Barack Obama and Former First Lady Michelle Obama remained in Rancho Mirage Sunday, and planned to head to the swing state of Nevada for a Democratic campaign rally in Las Vegas on Monday.

A spokesperson for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the Obama’s visit. They arrived in the desert on Saturday.

Barack Obama’s last visited Rancho Mirage in February, during which he played golf and was spotted at the Thunderbird Country Club gym.

It’s a trip he has made every President’s Day weekend since 2013.

Barack Obama is scheduled to give a speech at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Monday meant to spur early voting turnout, with just over two weeks until the mid-term elections.

“The last presidential election turned on fewer than 100,000 votes in three states. More people go to Coachella.

“There’s no good excuse not to vote,” he tweeted on Wednesday, referencing the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

A U.S. Senate seat from Nevada’s is one of the tightest races in the nation, as Republican incumbent Sen. Dean Heller faces Democratic challenger Rep. Jacky Rosen.
