Five bus stops will transform into outdoor concert stages Saturday throughout the Coachella Valley.
SunLine Transit Agency is hosting the 111 Music Festival at selected stops in Cathedral City, Coachella, La Quinta, Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage.
All bands and musicians will receive a unique code, and attendees can text that code to vote for their favorites.
The first place winner will receive a $500 Visa gift card, the second place winner will receive a $300 Visa gift card and the third place winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card.
Music begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.
These bands and musicians will play the following stops, which can be located by downloading the myStop smartphone application.
Cathedral City: The CMFs, Frank Eats the Floor and Marque Bell. Look for stop 20087.
Rancho Mirage: Barstow Prophets, Hoover Music and Empty Seat. Look for stop 659.
Palm Desert: Natasha Terrell, Bob Ballard and Celexa. Look for stop 65.
La Quinta: Blue Sun, Compa Eddie, and Juan Espino. Look for stop 980.
Coachella: Los Jovenes, Sunday Funeral, and Miguel Arballo. Look for stop 20257.
