A horse trailer overturned in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 215 just west of Moreno Valley Sunday, prompting a Sigalert and lane closures.
The crash was reported just after 3 p.m. on the southbound side of the freeway near the state Route 60 juncture, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash involved five vehicles, including a black pickup that was hauling the horse trailer, which ended up on its side in the center divider, the CHP said.
All southbound lanes except for the carpool lane were closed as tow trucks were summoned to clear the roadway, backing up traffic for about three miles.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured in the wreck.
