A 77-year-old woman rescued from a house that burned in the Mira Loma area of Jurupa Valley died at a hospital, authorities said Saturday.

Judith Redman was pronounced dead at about 3:30 p.m. Friday at Riverside Community Hospital, according to the Riverside County coroner’s office.

The fire was reported at 1:44 p.m. Friday at a house in the 10300 block of Jurupa Road, the Riverside County Fire Department said. Power lines were down in the vicinity of the fire, officials said.

During a search of the structure, firefighters found the patient now identified as Redman and took her to the hospital with what were described as serious injuries, officials said.
