A service in remembrance of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant will be held at a Moreno Valley church this evening.
The Potter’s House Church will host “A Tribute to Kobe Bryant: The Brevity of Life” at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public, and attendees are welcome to wear Lakers gear.
“We’re going to cover things in his life and accomplishments in his life,” Pastor Cary Mejia told the Riverside Press-Enterprise. “I’m going to cover, very briefly, about what the Bible has to say about brevity of life.”
The Potter’s House Church is at 22640 Goldencrest Drive. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others were killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas on Sunday.
