A garage fire broke out in Home Gardens Sunday.
The blaze was reported at 4:11 p.m. in the 16400 block of Limerick Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire officials said the flames had spread from the garage to the living quarters of the residence.
Southern California Edison and SoCalGas crews were also called to the scene.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Nine people, including three children, were displaced by the fire. The Red Cross was called to the scene to provide temporary housing for the nine people, Cal Fire Riverside reported.
