A power outage was affecting 1,274 Imperial Irrigation District customers in Indio Sunday.
The area affected by the blackout was between Miles Avenue to the north, Madison Street to the east, Highway 111 to the south and Jefferson Street to the west, according to the IID.
“Troubleshooter is on site. Estimated restoration time 6 hours,” the district tweeted at 3:39 p.m.
The outage comes amid a stay-at-home order issued by Gov. Gavin Newsom in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
