Western Riverside County residents who believe they may be infected with COVID-19 will be able to screen themselves online and, if eligible, make an appointment to receive a drive-up COVID-19 test, health officials announced Sunday.
The testing at Diamond Stadium in Lake Elsinore has been underway since Saturday and was initially scheduled to end Sunday, but operations will instead be ramped up, health officials said.
To schedule a test, residents must reside within a 50-mile radius of Riverside and be designated as high risk after screening their symptoms and risk factors online.
Residents can screen themselves and, if eligible, make an appointment to be tested at projectbaseline.com/covid-19.
In preparation for the expansion in testing, the Diamond Stadium site will have additional test kits and equipment, said Riverside County public health spokesman Jose Arballo Jr. in a news release.
